Troy T. Wilson, JD, CFP® Estate Planning Attorney | Certified Financial Planner™
Few estate planning attorneys can walk into a client meeting as both a licensed attorney and a Certified Financial Planner™. Troy Wilson can — and that dual perspective shapes everything about how he works.
Since 1983, Troy has focused on the intersection of financial planning and law, building a practice centered on estate planning, elder law, probate, and trust administration. His approach is straightforward: good planning isn’t about paperwork — it’s about making sure your family is protected, your wishes are honored, and the people you love don’t face unnecessary uncertainty when it matters most.
Troy earned his Finance degree and MBA from the University of Utah, then returned to earn his law degree from the S.J. Quinney College of Law — deliberately, to deepen his ability to serve clients at the place where financial and legal planning meet. That combination lets him see the full picture in ways that a single-discipline advisor often can’t.
He is a member of the Utah State Bar, WealthCounsel, and the Salt Lake Estate Planning Council, and serves as a statutory member of the Utah Commission on Aging.
Outside the office, Troy hikes, cycles, travels, and works on home projects. He and his wife regularly foster special-needs dogs, helping find permanent homes for animals that need a second chance.

Kari S. Conde – Paralegal & Funding Coordinator
Kari Conde has been with Wilson Law Office since 2005, and for many clients, she’s the first voice they hear and the steady presence that guides them through the process from start to finish.
A paralegal since earning her Associate’s Degree from Mountain West College in 2002, Kari works across every area of the firm’s practice — estate planning, guardianships, conservatorships, probate, and trust administration. She also serves as the firm’s Funding Coordinator, making sure each client’s trust is properly funded and fully in place. It’s detailed, consequential work that quietly prevents a lot of problems down the road.
What sets Kari apart is where her commitment to this work comes from. As a single parent, she understands firsthand what it means to need a solid plan — not as an abstract concept, but as real protection for the people you love. That experience informs how she shows up for clients every day: with patience, genuine care, and an ability to meet people where they are.
Clients consistently describe her as warm and approachable, and she takes that seriously. Estate planning can feel overwhelming or emotionally charged, and Kari’s goal is to make sure no one has to navigate it feeling alone or confused.
